NUTRIENT-PACKED BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
I've been drinking this smoothie just about every day for 'first breakfast' for several years now and it never gets old. Seriously, I'm in love. It also makes for a killer post-workout replenishment.
VegaOne is a vegan supplement powder created by former pro Ironman triathlete, Brendan Brazier. I have no affiliation with Vega products or the company, but Vega was one of the first vegan supplement powders I tried and, in my opinion, the best tasting.
One thing I love about VegaOne is how much nutrition is packed into one serving: 20g protein, 6 servings of greens, 1 billion probiotics, 27% of recommended daily fibre intake, and loads of antioxidants. Try it out for yourself!
VEGAONE BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
Print recipe HERE.
- 1 frozen banana*
- 1 cup hemp milk
- 1 scoop VegaOne (I prefer chocolate or mocha)
- 1 tbsp. raw almond butter
*Banana freezing tip: peel a very ripe, fresh banana. Slice and place in Ziploc bag to freeze. I do this with all my overripe bananas because they are perfect for recipes like this.
- In a high-speed blender (I used my Nutribullet), combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
