SUPREME SMOOTHIE BOWL

It's one thing to enjoy a smoothie through a straw, but it's a completely different experience to enjoy a smoothie with a spoon. The awesome smoothie bowl I've crafted for you today is loaded with nutrients, protein, fibre, omega-3s and, of course, lots of fruits and veggies!

One thing I love about smoothie bowls is the added freedom in getting creative with your toppings and creating art - the possibilities are endless. Ditch the straw today and grab a spoon!


SUPREME SMOOTHIE BOWL (SERVES 1)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • large handful of spinach
  • 1/2 cup hemp milk
  • 1/2 Medjool date 

Toppings:

  • 1-2 tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1-2 tbsp. goji berries
  • 1 tbsp. raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp. hemp hearts

Directions:

  1. In a high-speed blender, blend together spinach and hemp milk until smooth.
     
  2. Add banana, mango, and Medjool date. Blend again until completely smooth.
     
  3. Pour smoothie into bowl and top with coconut, goji berries, pumpkin seeds and hemp hearts. Enjoy immediately with a spoon.
