BLUEBERRY 'NANA ICE-CREAM
A wonderful thing happens when you combine frozen fruit (particularly bananas) together - you get a super creamy, soft-serve ice-cream that can satisfy the pickiest sweet tooth. I sometimes feel like a kid again experimenting with all the of the colours, textures, and flavours that are possible when it comes to 'nana ice-cream.
The best part of this recipe - aside from just being 2 ingredients - is that you can enjoy your dessert absolutely guilt-free!
BLUEBERRY BANANA ICE CREAM
(Makes about 1 adult serving and 2 kid servings)

- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- Throw everything in a food processor or high-speed blender and mix until completely smooth.
- Eat immediately as this stuff tends to melt faster than store-bought ice-cream.
I love how versatile banana ice-cream is! You can mix bananas and strawberries; bananas and peanut butter; bananas and chocolate; bananas and vanilla bean; bananas and mango - the possibilities are endless!
Let's face it, we all need dessert sometimes. The choice is ours whether we eat something fresh and nutritious, or something with a long list of questionable ingredients.
